The Last Lie

Grant my last request.
Paper thin walls close in.
They can hear us.
Do you see it?
Smiles.
They make me lie.
But can you save us?
The meaning to my existence has vanished.
Poof;
Gone.
As though it were never there,
You overlook all my moves;
All my flaws.
Accusations and recollections.
Falsifications.
The passion was there.
The fire once burned.
But then the rain came.
Our days spent lying in lies.
Looking for the answers.
But the tears came along.
And all you told me was don’t be afraid.
The unwritten law of a lovers bind.
Lets break the chains and disappear into the night.
Disappear off the face of the earth.
Wonder why you waited so long-
You were afraid.
My fallen knight;
The armor rusted.
No one wants to die alone.
Nonsense runs from my lips to your ears.

The pictures of you mock me.
But here we are.
The last goodnight.
